On the evening of August 7 local time, Changsha-born athlete Zhang Yayi and her teammates of the Chinese artistic swimming team claimed a gold medal in the artistic swimming team event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government sent a congratulatory message to the Chinese delegation.
